This is my story.

A man with red hair and beard, smiling, sitting on a wooden bench in a sunlit room with cream-colored curtains and windows.

For about a decade, I was numb. Drinking, numbing, going through the motions, telling everyone I was fine. Inside, I'd quietly given up on the idea that anything could reach me.

I was deeply sceptical of "healing" — the language, the crystals, all of it. So when I ended up in front of a crystal bowl for the first time, I wasn't hopeful. I was mostly just there. But when it started to ring, something in my body let go before my mind could argue with it. I cried, and didn't fully understand why.

It didn't fix everything overnight. But it cracked a door open. I got sober. I trained as a sound healer and a breathwork facilitator. Slowly, the numbness became something I could put down.

What I believe

I don't think you need to believe in energy or chakras for this to work. I didn't, and it worked on me anyway. Your nervous system is always listening, and sound speaks to it directly, without going through the part of your mind that argues and doubts.

Why I teach

I make the instruments I use - Echo Crystal Bowls - because I wanted bowls good enough to build a real practice on. And I teach because I don't want anyone else to spend a decade finding their way to something that could have reached them sooner.
